Zoooooooooooooom
Another weekend passes by at lightning speed. Had a quiet night in on Friday to tidy the house. Made slower progress than I should have and ended up only sorting my bedroom out meaning I had to get up nice and early on Saturday to do the rest of the house. Didn't do too badly - there's some vacuuming still outstanding and I didn't finish the washing up. And in the end they bloody cancelled. Hey ho. Hopefully Al and I can keep on top of the tidiness and maybe even start packing stuff up.
Saturday saw a last minute visit from ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) ulfilias and a planned visit from bikerfaerie. With him in his top hat and tails (you goin' to a weddin' mate?), me in my edwardiana and suz looking a tad flapperesque we looked like the customer, madame and prize lady from a classy brothel respectively. A great night - even ms sara_pebbles joined us for a rare night out - it was lovely to see her again. The exciting news is that we have the spectacular Beatrice Von Bourbon at next month's Slippery Belle. Woo! The sad news is that that was Lady J's last one. :*(
During the night my phone went mental and started putting random extra letters when you pressed the keypad, I think I might have worn it out recently, poor thing ;-)
Sunday bought ligging around with suz and lee, sorting out my dj set and eventual noodlage at fuji hiro (nom nom nom). bit of a nightmare as the crappy new cd player we have wouldn't play either of the 2 cds I'd burnt to dj from. Cue panicking. Cue finding another cd player with a faulty play button. Eventually managed to work out that the play button took 8 seconds to kick in and managed to save things a little - wasn't doing any bleep so stuff didn't really need too much mixing anyway. Lee headed back to Huntingdon about 10pm - rock and roll. Was a pleasant night all in all.
Back to the grindstone and all that - the SAP consultants are in from Wednesday - should brighten up the week... or maybe not. Next weekend Transmission and various possible visitors - some more variously possible than others. yeeee! |

a lot of people are moaning about Saturday nights Doctor Who...
I actually liked it to be honest. Yeah we all knew he wasn't gonna change, and as soon as I saw the replica of him I knew it was so Rose could have a soppy ending and I could have vomited at that alone...
Still i watch the 'confidential' episodes on bbc3 as well and it explains the psyche behind a lot of it and it makes sense.
Although I am really happy I don't have to watch Billie Piper ever again, with her schtoopid comedy teef, her mouth seems to have grown, I find her a truly repulsive creature. Thank fuck Tate has gone as well, cos I just wanted her dead when she started the Doctor Donna stuff, really fucking annoying.
Apart from that, I thought it was ace... |

The mini birthday festival which took place on Thursday was a success. :)
Bummed a lift off Matt with biomechanina, axemanoz and Hannah. Met ladytronic__ and headed on down. It was actually a field, with a huge bbq and marquee and lots of people. :)
We drank, we laughed, danced, talked and wrestled. :P - I enjoyed it.
Friday I died for most of the day. I was supposed to go beatherder but then I decided to stay in manchester instead as the weather was abit touch n go and I didn't fancy freezing my ass off in a field for another 3 days. :P
Went to Bondy's housewarming instead. :)
Saturday I met up with nympho_kitteh - who I haven't seen in TIIIIIME. I also met up with Chris. :) Saw e_laini and Jonn briefly in the thirsty scholar. :)
Went to Rock Kitchen in the end. It was shit nonetheless but the company was good and I danced a fair bit. :) Hah, why is it that I find emo boys cute? D:
Afterwards I headed to Tv21 and was accompanied by this boy who was in kitchen. He saved me from getting raped for a whole few minutes and walked down with me. He was really cute and nice. :) I gave him my email and have been talking to him on msn. He seems lovely.
Got to Tv21 and then we headed to area51 with biomechanina & Co. Area51 was a chav club playing house and minimal techno. Good music but full of sleazy motherfuckers. It was a tenner in - but we managed to slide in for free. ;)
Danced alot and pushed alot of knobhead guys off me. Hah, they were all fucked off their faces.
Left there at about 8am and headed back to biomechanina's for abit. We were joined with 2 guys who were also in area51 and they were really nice. One of them was very cute. :) I would. *nods*
Got home for 1pm and died quietly in bed. :P
I watched the Wimbledon final today. Well, parts of it. I actually fucking hate Tennis - but that was a good game in my opinion. I wanted Nadal to win. :)
